
The graduate of the doctoral study program Economics and Management of Agriculture and Food Processing masters scientific research methods, interpretation, and creative problem-solving in the economic challenges of sectors such as trade and industry, agriculture, food processing, forestry, tourism, and services. They bring their own solutions to problems in the following areas:
– Economic concepts, management processes, and organizational forms of operation of entities within specific sectoral and cross-sectoral economies, as well as the economic and managerial functions of business entities in these sectors,
– The impact of macro-environmental forces on organizations in the sector (including ethical, social, economic, legal, and technological factors),
– The effects of involving business entities in international division of labor,
– The application of managerial information and quantitative methods in sectoral and cross-sectoral economies,
– Research into sector-specific features of product economics within cross-sectoral linkages,
– Concepts and issues of business policy in individual sectors of the national economy.
