Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development

prepares experts in the field of European Union policies, regional development, rural development and rural tourism. Graduates are mainly employed in state administration, regional and local self-government, work as project managers within micro-regions, managers of tourism enterprises, etc.

 

The faculty is intensively involved in international cooperation. Students on the engineering degree can complete the international programme in rural development International Master of Rural Development ending with the title “Master of science – MSc" and a diploma issued by the university consortium. Studying within this programme takes place e.g. at the University of Ghent (BE), Berlin (DE), Córdoba (ES), Rennes (FR), Pisa (IT) and it is aimed at gaining international knowledge, practical experience and cultural dialogues.

The faculty is the seat of the “Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence" and was awarded the EU Jean Monnet plaque for the quality of education in European integration.
