GRADUATE EMPLOYABILITY

A first‑degree graduate of the study program Information and Management Systems in Production Engineering is prepared to analyze and solve problems in production processes, especially in mechanical, food, and agricultural production. They possess multidisciplinary knowledge in the areas of materials, design, electrical engineering, automation, robotics, and informatics.

Their key ability is the integration of technical, information, and communication knowledge, which they use to analyze problems and design effective solutions in the operation of production systems. They can independently solve tasks in the field of control and are skilled in reading and creating technical documentation.

Thanks to solid foundations in applied sciences, they understand the principles and connections in control and information systems. They are capable not only of using modern information technologies but also of creating their own application and control programs. They design software solutions for control elements with an emphasis on high energy efficiency of their operation.

ADDITIONAL ADMISSION CONDITIONS

  1. Applicants for study will be ranked according to the results of the evaluation criteria specified in the annex. For the Information and Management Systems in Production Engineering study program, an applicant may be admitted if they achieve at least a minimum aggregate score of 105 points, calculated from the school-leaving examination (Matura) and the grade point average in Mathematics and Physics obtained during individual years of secondary school.
  2. Upon request, applicants with specific needs will have the form and method of their entrance examination determined based on an assessment of their requirements, taking their specific needs into account.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE ADMISSION PROCESS

  • A single application allows an applicant to apply for two study programs within a single admission procedure fee.
  • The Faculty of Engineering may admit applicants without an entrance examination or a personal interview, based on the results achieved in the school-leaving examination (Matura).
  • Applicants shall attach a Curriculum Vitae (CV), a copy of their School-Leaving Certificate, and proof of payment of the admission administration fee to their electronic application.
  • A certified copy of the School-Leaving Certificate must be sent to the Study Department of the Faculty of Engineering at the following address:

            Andrea Homolová

Study department Faculty of Engineering SUA in Nitra

Tr. A. Hlinku 2 949 76 Nitra

  • ollowing the admission procedure, applicants will receive a decision on the admission results within 30 days of the verification of their eligibility for admission. An applicant who has not yet met the educational requirement (Matura) at the time of the admission committee’s session may be provisionally admitted.

In such a case, the Faculty of Engineering will offer the applicant another accredited study program. If the applicant is not interested in the alternative program, the application, including all attachments and the admission fee, will be refunded to the applicant.

Decision on the Result of the Admission Procedure

  • after the entrance procedure, the applicant shall receive a decision on the outcome of the admission process within 30 days of verification of fulfilment of the admission conditions.
