A graduate of the engineering study programme regional development and policies of the European Union is able to solve complex problems of social practice at the level of local, regional, state self-government, as well as EU institutions, where he/she creatively uses the theoretical knowledge obtained by studying professional courses. As a professional can define the development strategies of regions and municipalities, knows the tools for their enforcement and knows how to creatively apply them in practice. He/she is able to make individual decisions, but also to work in a team as a manager, or an expert in the field of regional and territorial development and as a budget specialist in public administration. He/she can communicate with colleagues and subordinates, masters the methods and techniques of working with the public.

GRADUATE’S EMPLOYABILITY

As a leader of trade unions and sections of state administration and self-government at the national, regional and local level, as well as an expert within the EU institutions. Furthermore he/she can work in entities dealing with regional and local development (non-profit organizations, civic associations), where is able to design and implement development programmes and projects. The graduate is able to process analyses of management and budget utilization of municipalities and higher territorial units.
